A Drift Sumi-e + HellaFlush + TDC shoot
Headed out to Buttonwillow over the weekend for the Team Drift Challenge and Hella Flush 3.5 show with Calvin, Allister, RJ and Haru. Went to film some stuff for the Drift Sumi-e site. Going to drift events is painful. Waking up at 3:30am, driving for 5hrs + , outdoors the entire day, smoke and rubber in your eyes, junk food , equipment full of dirt and itchy throat. But it’s all worth it I must say. Got to ride along in Calvin’s FD for the very first time. Ive been filming him for over 6 years now and never got to ride along with him. There is always a long list of people waiting to ride with him. Calvin gets crazy out on the track.It’s funny because he is so calm and chill in person, but when he gets into his car, dude is a beast. lol. I forgot how it feels to ride in a professional drift car. Best roller coaster ride ever!! Saw a bunch of friends and a lot of nice rides too. Got tons of footage that I need to start editing soon. So stay tuned for the video.
