Same Day Edit

Well here is my first “Same Day Edit” video I made 2 weeks ago. It was kinda challenging. The editing wasn’t the problem, it was the transcoding. It was taking forever to transcode the footage to a ProRes codec. I was transcoding during the ceremony, on the way to the reception. Just about any down time I had, transcoding was going on. Im sure the new version of FCP will have native h.264 editing. Can’t wait for that. My buddy Pete just told me his work flow, and man, really wish i did it his way. Well, its all a learning experience. I had a blast doing it though. Love the rush of having a tight deadline. I didn’t do anything to the color of the video. Thanks to Kana and Dustin for the help.
